Teddy Bear Sunday Huge Success

Dozens of multi-colored Teddy Bears, dogs, cats, rabbits and other stuffed animals embraced the altar of Grace Church last Sunday for the first Annual Teddy Bear Sunday.

The stuffed animals were gathered for a new Parish Outreach initiated by Fr. Walters. The animals were rightfully blessed during Sunday services and will be distributed to children in hospitals or to those living in situations where a fuzzy companion can bring some joy and happiness.  Slated to be an annual event on the Sunday nearest Valentine's Day, Teddy Bear Sunday is another example of Grace Church's community outreach efforts
