Parish Welcomes Rev. Walters

More than 175 parishioners joined in welcoming Rev. Joshua Walters as the 7th Rector of Grace Church.

The Rev. Joshua Walters celebrated his first service as Rector of Grace Church last Sunday with more than 175 members in attendence.  With the sun shinning on a warm Fall day, parishioners had the opportunity to hear Rev. Walters deliver his first sermon at Grace and share in prayers  of hope for the future of our Church and the Long Island Diocese.  After the service the Parish Hall was filled with parishioners at a special brunch sponsored by the Vestry and the Search Committee. Here we all  were able to chat with Rev. Walters and his wife Emily and meet his young children.  The buffet table was beautifully decorated and filled with all manner of  baked goods, bagels, waffles, sauages and bacon...noone left hungry.   Many thanks to Ernest Isip who took wonderful photographs of the event.
