Description: 

Dating back to 16th century England, the term "vestry" in the Anglican Communion is used for the body of lay members elected by the congregation to run the secular business of the parish.  At Grace Church the Vestry works in conjunction with the Wardens and Rector, serving as representatives of the parish.
