"Roots To Stand, Wings To Soar" -- The Story of Grace Day School

This story began over a half-century ago on the same leafy street "then a country road" on which Grace Day School sits proudly today.   When Massapequa Cooperative Nursery School was seeking a suitable facility to house their children, their search took them to the door of The Reverend John Malcom Haight, who was the newly appointed rector of Grace Episcopal Church.  What bought them together was part luck, part good timing and dare we suggest an otherworldly intervention of sorts?  In Father Haight there already existed a genuine affinity for education, so when the opportunity presented itself, so began a chain of events that ultimately evolved into the highly regarded Grace Day School of today.
